Statistical Mechanics of Spiking Neural Networks

Seminar WS 2011/12

Agenda: The goal of this internal seminar is to review the theory of networks of spiking neurons, with an emphasis on asynchronous states and oscillations.

Format: The seminar will consist of blackboard talks, given by PhD students/PostDocs/Profs. Each topic will be covered in two subsequent seminar dates and by a team of two people, to make it easier and more enjoyable to run through the (in places challenging) theory.
