Martina Michalikova
I am a PhD student in the Theoretical Neuroscience Group of Richard Kempter.
My current work focuses on spikelets, small spike-like depolarizations frequently observed in pyramidal neurons in vivo.
Using computational modeling, I try to shed light on the mechanism of spikelet generation and to assess their role in information processing in pyramidal neurons.
